We are excited to announce the details of the Jason D Sinnick Foundation 40 (JDSF40) Fundraiser on Sunday, June 4, 2017. This will be a super fun, family-friendly event for Jason’s network of friends, co-workers, family, and community.
Sunday, June 4, 2017
1211 North Bridge Street (RT-47, just south of Rt-34)
Yorkville, Illinois 60560
12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (or so)
1:00 PM: Short Foundation announcements
Entry Cost: $50 per person (12 and under free), $100 family maximum cost
The event includes open bowling, two bar access, billiards, live band (90s band called “Fool House”), and video games. Weather permitting, additional activities include outdoor Tiki bar, free entry for Bags Tournament and Sand Volleyball tournament (6-person co-ed teams) for prizes.
Yorkville Bowl is donating complete use of facilities, as well as the live band for this event to maximize the Foundation fundraising. So a big thanks to them!
JDSF40 will be providing snacks, a hot food BBQ buffet, and two drink tickets per person. The balance of the proceeds will go to JDSF40. Additionally, two cash bars will be open, and we have plans for an amazing silent auction you do not want to miss.
We will offer JDSF40 logo shirts to purchase for those in attendance, at cost. The shirt design is from a favorite marine artist of Jason, very similar to the one he wore often.
Although we are still working through our grief of nine months, we have spent time and carefully honored the mission and vision of this Foundation. We continue to update the website as we progress, and we will give you even more updates at the event.
Supporting Those in Need
JDSF40 supported two single-mother families over Christmas 2016, one of which had recently been homeless with three children, with needed clothes and gifts.
The Foundation has also made a substantial donation to the Midwest Homeless Veterans Shelter in Wheaton, which supports seven local counties.
Supporting Our Future Leaders
This week the JDSF40 will sponsor and award $1000 scholarships to the top male and female students at Naperville North for the senior-voted Friendship award, which highlights those students most representing the traits of humility, strength, and kindness in their conduct and citizenship at Naperville North.
Supporting Our Athletes
We are sponsoring the relatively new Bass Fishing team at Naperville North, which is now an official sport. The team won in their conference, and is going to the state championship this Spring. We also made a donation for equipment this year, and for future growth.
As we move forward, we are vetting additional people and programs who could benefit from our assistance, and that are in line with our mission and vision.
Follow us to receive information as we continue to support the local in-need community.
Please plan to attend our fundraiser event this coming June 4th and help make this event successful and fun. Plan on wearing your favorite Cubs, Acacia, Blackhawks, Dolphins, Naperville North, or summer beachwear. This may be the start of a tradition!
Let’s honor Jason’s humility and legacy, and help many more people while doing so. Feel free to RSVP if you are coming, but it’s not necessary. We just hope to see you there!
Help us in the cause with a great Sunday of fun!
